How your fundraising and donations make a difference
The funds raised through Dry July will provide invaluable services to cancer patients, their families and carers – whether it’s a lift to a life-saving appointment, guidance from a specialist nurse, connection to an informative voice, access to therapy programs or a bed close to treatment.
Everything we fund benefits the cancer patient and their families and carers. We aim to make a difficult time, a little easier for people affected by cancer.
Terry
Terry never thought he would need the support of a McGrath Breast Care Nurse until he received two diagnoses: prostate cancer and breast cancer.
Sue
After being diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time, Sue sought comfort and support in Cancer Council’s 13 11 20 Information and Support line.
Karen
Look Good Feel Better provided Karen with support and advice in a safe and non-judgmental space during her treatment for triple negative breast cancer.
Lisa
Lisa found support at the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre and Wellness Centre after receiving her diagnosis of gastro-oesophageal junction cancer.
